About Our Founder
As a seasoned sales and marketing expert Jean has over 20 years experience working in the US, SG & APAC region.
In 2001, Jean set up a Software Distribution division within Asia Technical Services focused on selling Enterprise Technology Solutions & Managed Services in the Asia Pacific region.
During his tenure - evangelizing, building partner channels and selling a range of complex innovation solutions - he identified a consistent trend amongst most companies. They all wanted to grow, but most lacked at least one - if not all - of the following three things:
In 2012, Jean launched Plugged-In Asia [version 1.0], a start-up designed to tap into the expatriate business community that were setting up businesses in Singapore in the wake of the global financial crisis. They came with strong competency, impressive overseas references, but limited in-market contacts.
Plugged-In Asia provided access to larger enterprise customers with contacts and business development services. The objective was to leverage the relationships partner' already had with their existing clients to upsell/cross-sell partner solutions at highly competitive rates.
Designed to be agile and responsive, Plugged-In Asia was also an early adopter of the Client Centric business approach, which has helped it to punch above its weight against bigger players in highly competitive mature markets.
In 2015, Jean took up a role as Business Development Director for South East Asia in a leading Data Driven Marketing agency called KatalystM, to support them through a transition period. Jean was working with a crack team selling consulting and solutions for the latest in Programmatic Marketing platforms from Oracle, Salesforce and IBM. Through that experience Jean defined the direction and next iteration of Plugged-In Asia, [version 2.0] that you see today.
Still focused on People, Process and Technology, Jean now works out of Brisbane Australia, working with enlightened companies offering them Advisory and Consulting Services with a clear Roadmap to success.
